A Note from Barracudas President JLB
As the summer swim season comes to a close this weekend, we look forward to celebrating many great achievements. Last weekend saw great swims at B Conference with 76% time drops and second place team finish! WAY TO GO ‘CUDAS! We head into A Conference Saturday morning positioned to be a strong contender in our division and giving all teams a run for their money.
Saturday evening we will all come together one last time this season to celebrate our 172 swimmers along with their families. A big THANK YOU to each family for their dedication to the Bartlett Barracudas between practices, meets and volunteering.
The summer season may be coming to a close….but what are you doing this fall? We are lucky to have a great partner in the Bartlett Park District that's passionate about our swim program, and we are happy to share that Barracuda Winter Conditioning is available NOW for registration. It's a practice-only program with a fun, intramural swim meet during the holiday break. The interest and participation in this year's Barracuda Winter Conditioning will help lock in the budget and pool availability for a 2020/21 winter Barracuda Swim Team (with competitive meets). Please help us reach this goal and secure a winter Barracuda Swim Team for 2020/21.
On behalf of the Barracuda Parent Board, we look forward to celebrating all swimmers, their families and a job well done this season on Saturday evening.
GO ‘CUDAS GO!!!! Swim fast!
