2023 Season Meet, Volunteer, and Activities Signup

Welcome to the Bartlett Barracudas Swim Team! We cannot wait for this fun and competitive season to begin! Please read the below carefully to get your family signed up for all the meets, volunteering, and activities for the 2023 season.

You registered your swimmer for the swim team through the Bartlett Park District. Once on the team we have each FAMILY sign up their swimmer(s) into our Barracuda team website. This site will contain all the information you need for the season, to sign up for each swim meet, volunteer positions and our special activities. As we receive no funds to operate the team we do require that each family donate $25 per season per family to go towards our concessions and activities. This will be a portion of your family sign up today.

Fill out this form to register parents, swimmers, grandparents, and others family members that may be helping at meets this summer. Please note we are collecting $25 per FAMILY (The website has an auto fee that notes "per athlete." You will only be charged $25 per family.)

Parent Agreement

We will fulfill our volunteer requirement as outlined in the Park District brochure and Parent Meeting.

We understand that all families must volunteer during the season.

We understand that during severe weather or emergencies, swimmers under the age of 18 cannot be permitted to leave without a parent or guardian, and will remain in the care of the Park District.

We will respect all coaches, officials, Park District employees, peers, Board members, and competitors. Violation of this provision can result in expulsion from the team without recourse.

We will respect the property of the Park District and the competitor facilities We will follow the the pool rules at the Park District and competitor facilities.

We acknowledge that there is absolutely no alcohol beverages to be consumed on Park District property. We acknowledge that any individual appearing to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol during team events will be asked to leave.

Swimmer Agreement

I will attend all practices for my age group unless excused by the coaching staff.

I will arrive to all practices on time with necessary equipment: Water bottle, appropriate suit, dryland gear (on certain days).

I will notify the coaches if I am going to miss a practice.

I must attend at least one practice during the week to participate in a meet.

I understand that my practice attendance will reflect the number of events I swim at meets.

I understand that all swimmers, regardless of age or skill, will swim in Exhibition heats.

I will respect all coaches, officials, Park District employees, parents, and other swimmers during the season.

I will respect the Park District's facilities and the other teams' facilities.

I will follow all pool rules.

I understand that lifeguards are in charge.

I will give 100% at all practices and meets.
