Weather & Cancellations
Summer swimming involves dealing with unpredictable weather. Here is how the Bartlett Barracudas handle delays and cancellations:
- Practice in the Rain: Practice generally continues in the rain! It is only cancelled for severe weather or unsafe conditions as determined by the Head Coach or pool manager.
- Meet Delays: Rain alone doesn't stop a meet. If lightning occurs, meets are paused or delayed. We follow all DSDC rules regarding safety and rescheduling.
- Stay Informed: Always check our official communication platforms for real-time updates from coaches before heading to the pool.
- Flexibility: We ask for your patience as we try to provide every possible opportunity for the swimmers to get their time in the water.
